Norton Misty Green by Fuller Moto

Misty Green is relevant for my idea, because it gets close. I love its style and estetics. I love what BRYAN FULLER stands for as a designer and fabricator. And I love the engine. That's the heard and where a good build should start. Your bike should have the engine that is right and significant for you. For me this is the late and legendary Norton Commando 850 engine. This thing encapsulates british engineering and represents a greate era in European motor cycle history.

Sourcing the engine will be a journey in it selve. I'd recon these people could possibly help: Holland Norton Works.

Development of the Idea

Why the hell would I want to do this again? Building a custom bike without being an actuall master fabricator is a bit of a pain, because first you need to find one (not that easy, cause there ain't too many) and second you need to get your vission accross. But than I am thinking, maybe this an advantage. You have to put so much effort into getting the vission as mature and crisp as possible and finding ways to convey that vission, just to get the damn thing build. But, isn't that exactly what you need to have to attract potential customers? And the customer is part of the end goal here. I mean, isn't the goal to spread some beaty and quality into the world? Isn't this ultimately about enriching and enjoying what we are? This is for the ones, like me, who take great joy from this form of functional art. Enough bla-bla, here are the parts I want use:

Engine: Ducati: either 1098, 1200 cc Testatstretta 11° DS, or Testastretta DVT 1262
Frame: Aluminim; red?
Swingarm: Aluminium, double sided; red?
Wheels: spokes; either Kineo, or Borrani
Fork: Öhlins; black with billet radial bottoms
Rear suspension: Öhlins; black
Breakes: Discacciati
